This past week, the story tellers writing group have been planning and writing their own narrative story. Enjoy!

A big problem
   Once upon a time there was a Detective and a fairy crew. The Detective lived in a pirate ship made out of wood. The fairy lived in a big mushroom. With white spots and red all over. One day the Detective found a spooky rat as big as a kitten. And as poisenous as can be. The Detective sets out on a Journey. The Detective found a magic pencil. However the magic pencil goes wild and the Detective drops the pencil and walks away . The pencil was the fairy’s and without the pencil the fairies can’t fly. The Detective found the fairies cottage the fairies got cooked for lunch because the Detective had no lunch for 2 week’s.

Reflect on our writing using a rubric

If your parent went on camp, please write a letter to another person and give your own parent a big hug next time you see them.

Hi my name is BRIDGET. I am from yaldhurst school and I was in your group for tree cimping and I liked how you teached all the students about climbing.

(Paragraph 4): This is the concluding paragraph where you thank the person again for taking part, sum up your feelings about camp this year and end with a positive comment about the person (at least 30 words).
