Well I did I got up at 5:35am in the morning and stood at our driveway.
I did this with my whole family.
Here are some photos.
This is My brother and I.
I am in my Girl Guides uniform and Connor is in his Scouts uniform.
Here are some other things I made.
ANZAC Biscuits
And some poppies.
Have you done anything creative?
Comment down below I would love to hear what you have made.
See you next time...
Kia ora Bridget,
ReplyDeleteWhat a really lovely thing to do to mark Anzac Day. I think it is great that you and Connor got into your uniforms. I guess if we hadn't been in lockdown you would have been marching in a parade in your uniforms?
We took some time to talk about the people in our family who served in the wars. Both Dan and I have grandparents and great grandparents who served. Dan's grandfather got shot in the bottom and got sent home from war. Isn't that a funny story?! Though I image it probably wasn't that funny for him.
Thanks for sharing this. Those biscuits look super yum!

Hi Bridget, I love all the photos in your blog, it shows you took great pride in remembering the soldiers on ANZAC day. Maybe you could have shared in your blog that you were celebrating ANZAC day I think I managed to make the assumption with the poppies and the delicious looking ANZAC biscuits:) I hope I was correct!
